Hope Hummingbird is a ceramicist and street artist from Philadelphia, PA, where she began hanging blue and white porcelain tiles throughout the city to spread a sense of hope and community. Hope addresses current societal movements by displaying portraits of historical people whose stories of strength and resilience are still relevant today.
Bio

Hope’s work has been displayed at the Philadelphia International Airport for the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and the Visit Philly City of Sisterly Love Campaign celebrating Women’s History Month. Hope has also participated in the Mural Arts Artists in Conversation program as a guest speaker and has taught as a guest artist for the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. In Austin, she teaches ceramics and participates in community art initiatives such as Walls Unite and Raasin in the Sun.
